Terms of service
Draft: 23 October 2026.
Template – to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. This text is a draft for Stafeta's launch; the double-bracketed parts wait to be filled in, the rest waits for legal review. Not legal advice.
1. Parties and scope
The provider is the sole proprietorship (Dutch eenmanszaak) of Vince Baráth, trading as Stafeta; KvK: KvK number; VAT ID: VAT ID; registered address: registered address, the Netherlands; hello@stafeta.ai. The customer is the business that registers the workspace; we do not sell to consumers. The person registering confirms they may contract on the company's behalf.
The contract is formed when the workspace is created and these terms and the data processing agreement are accepted.
2. The service
Stafeta is a hybrid human/AI work platform: cards, approvals, drafts made by agents, runs in the tools the company connects, rota, leave, money and HR records, a client portal, a kiosk. An AI agent never sends, deletes or pays: an outgoing step is always approved by a person. AI output is a proposal, not legal, tax or financial advice.
The product is developed continuously; a feature is withdrawn with at least 30 days' notice.
3. Plans and prices
Three plans, a flat monthly price per company, net of VAT: Rajt HUF 19,900 / € 49 (up to 5 active people, € 15 AI budget), Átadás HUF 49,900 / € 129 (up to 15 active people, € 40), Futam HUF 129,000 / € 349 (up to 50 active people, € 120). The currency is fixed at sign-up: Hungarian companies pay in forint, everyone else in euro.
- Active means anyone who did anything in the last 30 days; agents never count; an accountant or an occasional contributor can be exempted.
- A plan moves up only after 2 consecutive months over the limit, from the next period, announced a month ahead. A deliberate upgrade applies at once, prorated; a downgrade at the end of the period.
- AI use above the budget is billed in arrears at twice our cost, up to the cap the owner sets (€ 50 by default); at the cap the agents pause.
- Founder companies (the first 100) get 30% off for 24 months; culture and non-profit organisations 30%.
4. Trial
A 14-day trial without a card, with € 5 of AI. At its end the workspace is read-only until a plan is chosen; the data is kept for 60 days, then deleted.
5. Billing and payment
Monthly billing in advance through Stripe (card, iDEAL/SEPA). Prices are net. A Dutch company is charged 21% VAT; another EU company with a valid, VIES-verified VAT ID is invoiced with the reverse charge ("btw verlegd") – without a VAT ID a paid plan cannot start. The invoice is the one Stripe issues.
When a payment fails, Stripe retries and e-mails; access stays full for 7 days (agents pause from day 3), then read-only, then the contract ends. Refunds are given only as credit notes.
6. Term and cancellation
Monthly periods, renewing automatically. Cancel any time for the end of the period from the billing settings; after cancellation everything stays readable and exportable for 60 days, then is deleted (we warn 14 and 3 days before). The owner can request the workspace's deletion with a 14-day grace.
On a serious breach (in particular of section 8) we may suspend access with immediate effect, with notice.
7. The customer's responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for the content it uploads, for the lawful use of the accounts it connects, and for informing its staff as employment and privacy law require (works council, Hungarian Labour Code s. 11/A, Dutch WOR) – we provide consulting templates for this.
- Protecting sign-in details and kiosk PINs is the customer's job; two-step sign-in is mandatory for every account.
- An approval is a decision: what the approver releases (an e-mail, a campaign, a post) is the customer's responsibility.
8. Acceptable use
Stafeta must not be used to monitor individuals, for emotion recognition, individual performance scoring or ranking, handling unlawful content, circumventing security measures or deliberately manipulating the model (prompt injection). The product deliberately offers none of these; if we see such use through a workaround, we suspend.
9. Availability and support
Provided with reasonable care but without a service-level guarantee; maintenance is announced in advance. Service-level commitment (SLA): to be decided after launch. Support by e-mail on working days.
10. Intellectual property and data
The platform is ours; the customer's content is the customer's. We do not use customer data to train models and do not sell it. The customer can export at any time.
11. Liability
Our liability for damage connected with the contract is limited to the fees the customer paid in the 12 months before the event. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or data loss; intent and gross negligence are excepted. The approving customer is responsible for the content of AI output.
12. Changes, law, disputes
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice; a customer who does not accept may cancel for the end of the period. Dutch law; disputes go to the court of Amsterdam. In case of a difference between language versions the English text prevails or the Hungarian – to be decided.
